A2 music video
Today, we continued the search for our unsigned artist which we could use for our music video. We managed to narrow our selection down to a few artists all who have good potential for our project. They are the following-
Cincere- "Is more than a gifted artist, he is a humble soft spoken young man on a musical mission and the formula is magic wherever he goes. The fan base is solid, adoring, and uniquely diverse. Wyze Gicasso- "Music saved my life, my name is Wyze Gicasso , a musician born and raised in Houston Texas. I play with all kinds of music but my favorite is hip hop/ rap. I'm able to let my creativity flow well through rap music. I remember when I 1st started recording my music, all I had was a crappy mic and windows media recorder. We also looked into artists who we felt may have been signed in the past, but who have perhaps been dropped. For example, Eamon and Frankie who became well known for the song "dont want you back".
Both artists are from the hip-hop/ R n B genre so are relativly similar. We chose this genre from the success we had in a practice music video task. We produced a music video of Dizzie rascle bonkers and were very pleased with the results. We found that we were very good when working with a high tempo/ fast paced song. therefore, we felt a hip hop song would allow us to reproduce the good work we achieved when working with the dizzie rascle song.
Finally the group contains- me, Seanne Judge, Claire Mugridge, Analise Bradley
